With an incredibly high success rate, the All on 4 implants treatment is a contemporary permanent solution for teeth that are severely damaged or missing. Your dentures will be fully restored with minimally invasive procedures and will be supported by four dental implants (or up to eight in some situations).
A complete arch of teeth is affixed to either the top or bottom of the mouth, and these are inserted into the jawbone and/or maxillary to replace the natural tooth root.
Unlike conventional removable dentures, these are firmly fixed to restore the mouth’s aesthetic and masticatory function without causing discomfort from rubbing.
After 20 years following the treatment, studies show a 98.8% prosthesis survival rate (*Nobel BioCare).
For this treatment to be successful, regular maintenance and good oral hygiene are essential.
Depending on the patient’s circumstances, this operation can take up to a year, even though it usually takes six to eight months. To get the mouth ready for the implants, bone grafting or tooth extraction may be required in some circumstances. An alternative for patients without appropriate bone structure is a Snap-On denture.
